Flow Tip: Emailing Bookmarks to Flow

Luke SeeleyLast Updated: January 24, 2012

If you spend a lot of time on the go, you’re probably familiar with the frustration of trying to read long articles or browse text-heavy sites on your mobile’s tiny little screen. Apps like Evernote or Instapaper might make bookmarking things a lot simpler than before, but then you’ve still got to remember to search through those programs to find your link.

Luckily, most mobile browsers have an option to quickly share links to whatever pages you’re browsing. And that’s where Flow’s email integration comes in to save the day…

Emailing Your Bookmarks to Flow

1. On your iPhone, press the action icon at the bottom of the screen (on other mobile phones there should be a similar icon that does the same thing).

2. Click the “mail link to this page” button to open up your mail app.

3. Put tasks@getflow.com in the “To:” field, then write your task title, due date, and whatever other information you want to add in the subject field (click here for more on Flow’s email options). Double-check that the address you’re sending from is the same one that’s associated with your Flow account and hit “Send.”

**4. **Go on with your day! Your task will appear in your Flow account with a link to the article right there in the task description, so the next time you’re at your computer you can quickly open it up and pick up wherever you left off.

Happy tasking!
