A Note from the CEO of Flow

Daniel ScrivnerLast Updated: February 28, 2020

Over the last year, the team and I have been working incredibly hard on a new vision for Flow. One that embraces everything we’ve learned over the last 10 years but recognizes that the nature of work, and the tools that we use to do it, are changing faster than ever.

We couldn’t be more excited to finally share what we’ve built and where we’re headed in a series of updates over the next few months.

In those, we’ll cover:

A sneak peek at Flow X

Flow X. We started from scratch to build a faster, simpler, more powerful version of Flow. This massive update contains over a hundred improvements and dozens of new features, including the ability to add due times to tasks, set priority for tasks, and mark tasks as in progress or cancelled. We’re also reviving chat and messaging in Flow.

A look at our evolved symbol

New branding. We’ve also been hard at work on an evolved look for Flow. We’ll be rolling that out over the next few months and we’re excited to share the story behind the rebrand with you.

New team and solo plans

New pricing and plans. We’re introducing new plans and pricing across the board. Teams will soon have 3 plans to choose from: Basic, Plus, and Pro. We’re lowering our prices for individuals using Flow Solo. And we’re raising our annual plan discounts, bringing our Pro team plan to just $10 per user per month if you pay yearly.

Roadmap. Finally, we’ll share more about what you can expect from Flow in 2020. As well as how you can help us shape the future by sharing your feedback and testing future versions of our apps.

All of the above has been a long time coming. We’re so excited to finally share it with you.

Thank you for using Flow! Here’s to the journey ahead.
