Adding Tasks in Flow for Mac
Flow for Mac lets you create tasks at any time by selecting it from the menubar menu:

This will open the New Task pane, which works just like adding a new task in the Flow web app. You can enter a task and save it with a click, or add tags, put it in a list, assign it to someone else, add notes, and more. This is a great way to quickly add things you need to do and get back to what you were doing.

But if you really want to create tasks quickly, you should set a global hot key that, when typed, will open and close the task form. Just open your Flow for Mac preferences, and you’ll see the default global hotkey under the general settings.

To add your own shortcut, click on the set of keys in the General pane in the preferences window and enter the key combination you want. Adding a new task to Flow is now just a simple keystroke away.
