Using Tags to Organize Tasks in Lists
As you manage large projects in lists, it can become confusing to figure out what needs done. Tags are a great way to keep your tasks organized, as you can add extra information to tasks and then use it to organize them. You could tag them based on the type or task or the location it’ll need to be done, and then view all of the tasks from all of your lists with that same tag. If you’re collaborating on a list with others, they’ll all be able to see the tags, so everyone will know exactly what type of tasks need to be done.
To organize your list by tags, make sure the right sidebar is open. If it’s not, click the Toggle Navbar icon in the top toolbar. The Navbar will show by default in shared lists, but you’ll have to open it in private lists. Once it’s open, you’ll be able to see all of the tags, collaborators, and activity in a task. Select a tag to only see tasks with that tag, so you can quickly find the specific tasks you need to do.
