Our company had been struggling to find a task management solution that was intuitive, worked on mobile and desktop, and allowed us to delegate and keep tabs on projects from other team members. Flow was the perfect solution. It’s intuitive, easy to learn, and it has all the functionality we were looking for. Within a month’s time, we had 40 team members signed up, dozens of projects and hundreds of tasks all getting done with Flow. With everyone on the same system in the office and on the go (when some of the best ideas pop into your head) we are getting more done and turning more ideas into completed tasks.
We’re a development- and design-heavy shop, so everything we do demands a huge amount of planning to be executed well. We started using Flow because it’s simple yet powerful enough for us to impose our own structure, allowing us to work the way we work best. Task delegation works exactly as you’d want it to, and folders, lists, and tags help us add context and stay organized. Within weeks of adopting Flow, our team was addicted…and most had trashed their own todo apps!
Because we’re a small business, everyone who works here has to perform a variety of jobs. With Flow’s ability to delegate tasks, I’m able to organize my vendors and quickly put a team onto a project. I can be as involved or hands-off as I want, and all without having to worry that something is going to slip through the cracks. Flow is the new standard in task-management: within three minutes of using it I was in a completely different tier of productivity. It’s amazingly useful. Period.
We’ve used Flow for over a month now and we’re totally hooked. Being able to assign tasks to different people and check the list the following week, read the comments, and immediately see what’s been done has been incredible. We’ve even adopted it as a ticketing system, using it to manage bugs and feature requests for our products. It keeps our team accountable and productive and the lines of communication open. In the future I see Flow as more and more integral to our entire process.
I’m a student by day, but by night I develop and maintain 6 successful web apps. I need a full-feature mobile app that I can create tasks with at school, as well as a beautiful, dedicated web app with the ability to manage projects, apply tags, and attach files. Flow takes care of everything. I’ve been using it since it first launched and can’t think of any other way to get as much done.
The Alpha Academy is a mentoring program based in California. We’re a self-sustaining non-profit, which means we have to operate three different businesses just to keep our programs going. We all have to do the job of more than one person, so having a collaboration/task-management tool has become a necessity. We’ve tried others, but Flow fits us perfectly. It’s easy to learn, easy to teach, and easy to integrate into each of our work flows.
The work I do is extremely important to me. Whether I’m fixing a server or helping a third grader work their laptop, I’m positively affecting the lives of these little people, and they deserve the best. But as the school’s only I.T. guy, I’m often faced with 30-40 tasks on any given day. So I use Flow. It reminds me when something needs to be done, and it helps me to do it. It’s one of the few products I’ve followed out of Beta to the paid service, and I’ve never regretted it.
We’ve used Flow since it launched, and we’re becoming more and more dependent on the workflow it enables (but happily so!). The transition from “beginner” to “power user” came naturally, and I’ve been able to discover new uses for the software because of its flexible task model–something a technical guy like me can appreciate. Our next step is to integrate it with other parts of our process, and introduce it to other departments where email just isn’t enough.
As a graduate student, I have to juggle classes, group projects, research tasks, and seminar presentations every single day. I wanted a task manager to help me stay on top of everything, so I turned to Flow. It combines everything I need in one beautiful, seamlessly synchronized application. I can add tasks from my phone, my computer, my email, or any mobile device. And the fact that my friends and colleagues can join a project without even needing to sign up for the service is brilliant!
I’m a legal administrator, a church leader, a husband, and a father. Keeping all of those responsibilities organized can sometimes be a challenge, so I use Flow. Its email integration and recurring tasks make it easy to work from anywhere, and the collaborative features are great for helping my wife and I keep track of bills, appointments, and even phone calls. I keep Flow on my iPhone, in my Mac’s toolbar, and open in my browser at work. It’s truly become my most valuable productivity tool.
We discovered Flow while searching for a full service task management app that would work for our new design firm. With up to four people often working on a single project (usually from different locations) it was vital that we had a system in place that allowed for easy and effective collaboration. Flow stood out from the crowd because it allowed us to create discussions around each step in our task lists, making for seamless project collaboration and saving us countless hours writing emails.
We know that to make the best tequila on earth we need to work with the best tools available, and that is why we use Flow. We depend on it to coordinate all of our shipments, using due dates and detailed task activities to keep our team informed and accountable. The collaboration features, beautiful interface, and constant improvements on every platform put Flow far ahead of the competition, and we know it’s only going to get better. Flow really has changed everything.
As an online games company who works with clients like the BBC and Disney as well as developing our own products, we’re constantly searching for ways to improve our productivity. Flow offers me immediate, effortless capture across all my devices and seamless delegating to the members of my team. So whether I’m running a company, making notes for the book I’m writing, or brainstorming ideas, I have a flexible system that keeps it all in place.
As Director of Operations for Blinksale, I’m responsible for everything from implementing new initiatives to monitoring the performance of individual team members. Bringing Flow into my daily process was a strategic move: the way I’m able to delegate tasks quickly and easily, track my team’s productivity on a moment-by-moment basis, and receive regular reminders has made it indispensable, and the fact that I can do all that from anywhere is just icing on the cake.
